Rollins College hosts forum on the environment

Local leaders came together last month at Rollins College to discuss measures needed to protect the environment and preserve the quality of life in Central Florida. 

The discussion was part of the state's initiation in part with First Street Foundation and Rethink Energy Florida.

Among the discussion points were education, taxes, water management, waste management and climate change, all of which are issues facing the Central Florida community.

Candidates Daniel Clark Anderson, Joy M. Goff-Marcil, Stockton Reeves, Kevin Lance Ballinger, Nicolette Springer, Pete Crotty, Bobby Lance, Bill Moore, Eric Rollings, Mayra Uribe, Randy Whiting and Pete Clarke were all in attendance at the meeting.
