By Press release submission | | Sep 6, 2018

Kiwanis Club of Orlando recently issued the following announcement.

The Kiwanis Club of Orlando was well-represented at the 101st Florida Kiwanis Convention, held on the weekend of August 25th at the Orlando Marriott World Center. Division 10 (Orange, Seminole & Osceola counties) Kiwanis Delegates (including Kiwanis Club of Orlando delegates Jeff Cox, Rocky Metcalf and Steve Rausch, pictured) voted in the House of Delegates at the Florida District of Kiwanis Convention on Saturday morning. The Kiwanis Club of Orlando had a table in the resource/exhibit hall where we highlighted our support of and involvement with Dueling Dragons of Orlando.

President Steve Rausch accepted the Kiwanis Impact Award given by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, recognizing the many ways we support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. The award was presented by our own Shannon Yohe during the Friday lunch meeting at the convention. Florida District Kiwanis Governor Todd Smith presided. The Kiwanis Club of Orlando was well represented at the convention by members Shannon Yohe, Rocky Metcalf, Tom Porter, Jeff Cox, Bob Bates and Steve Rausch.
