Q3 real estate sales report: Pine Hills

Median prices rose in Pine Hills over last year, and are up 171.4 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 215 homes sold in Pine Hills for a median price of $127,000. That's 18.7 percent higher than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter, 14 homes in Pine Hills were in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Pine Hills was $1,114.09 in 2015 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 1.7 percent of their home's value in taxes.

Statewide, Florida homeowners pay an effective property tax rate of 1.1 percent, according to a 2017 property tax analysis by ATTOM Data Solutions, ranking it 21st among U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
