Victor Rosa Jr., 64, of Orlando Florida passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019.
He was born on November 2, 1954 in Chicago IL.
He is survived by his parents: Victor Rosa and Maria Socorro Rosa, siblings: Miguel Rosa and Maria V. Flores, 3 nephews: Miguel Rosa Jr., Alexander Rodriguez, and Joshua Flores, 3 nieces: Maritza Diaz, Christina Jaramillo, and Annalis Mendez, and many great nephews and nieces.
Victor was a believer of the Lord and lived his life to please Jesus Christ. He received his Bachelor’s degree and was honored with the “Beating the Odds” award. He then continued his education and obtained a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida.
He was an advocate for young adults who suffered with alcohol and substance abuse. As a social worker he encouraged many by helping them to think for themselves as well as taught them skills to conquer the battle with their substance issues.
His passions included expressing his deepest thoughts and feelings through the art of poetry. He was working on compiling his poems into a book.
Although he had physical challenges he was an inspiration to many. He will continue to be remembered and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
