SODEXO USA: Wolverines, Sodexo Debut New Menu Items for 2019 Season at Michigan Stadium

As excitement builds for the 2019 Michigan Football season, the Michigan Wolverines and Sodexo, the team’s hospitality partner, have unveiled new food and beverage items for fans to enjoy at Michigan Stadium, one of the country’s classic, most iconic sporting facilities. The new offerings feature new twists on longtime Michigan favorites and new items that will enhance what is already regarded as a top-notch culinary experience for the home crowd and visitors alike.

“We are extremely excited about not only the upcoming football games but all of the new items available for Wolverine fans. We continue to emphasize locally sourced products and partners combined in unique ways to offer fans a wide variety of options,” said Jon Collier, Sodexo General Manager. “Today’s fans have high expectations for their gameday food and our team is prepared to deliver an exceptional experience each and every day this season.”

Sodexo Executive Chef Don Feldkamp, with 20+ years of culinary experience, hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan – home of the Maize and Blue. Serving the catering operation for the largest stadium in the country, seating over 107,000, Chef Don possesses an acute attention to detail overseeing the premium suites, club level seating, media, private parties and more. The entire team works closely with the Wolverines’ athletic department to create an exceptional culinary and fan experience, elevating traditional stadium fare every Saturday.

The new suite offerings also include:

Germack Trail Mix: Signature Big House blend of roasted fancy nuts, bacon and cheddar snack mix with maize and blue chocolates

7-Layer Dip: Layers of guacamole, refried beans, black beans, pico de gallo, black olives, cheddar cheese, sour cream and scallions

Maize Corn Dip: Cheesy sweet corn dip served with blue corn tortilla chips

Kicken Chicken Egg Rolls: Mini crispy buffalo chicken egg rolls served with bleu cheese and ranch dipping sauce

Chicken Quesadilla: Seasoned chicken, Colby jack cheese in a grilled tortilla served with fresh Pico de Gallo, sour cream and guacamole

Caprese Bread: Blistered tomato, basil and smoked mozzarella served on toasted baguette

Pierogies: Local made potato and cheese pierogis topped with applewood smoked bacon and caramelized onion served with a side of jalapenos and sour cream

Asian Crab Cakes: Jumbo lump crab, scallions, ginger and fresh lime, golden fried, served with sriracha aioli

Thai Crunch Salad: Bok choy with crisp vegetables, rice noodles and sesame dressing

Provencal Potato Salad: Roasted fingerling potatoes lightly dressed with mustard vinaigrette tossed with green beans, onion, tomato

Big House Chili Con Carne: Chipotle chili, sirloin steak, chorizo sausage, tomatoes, onions, peppers and beans

Pork Carnitas Tacos: Tender pulled pork served with avocado slaw, spicy aioli and fresh local tortilla shells

Beef Sliders: Special in-house hand pattied beef blend served on soft rolls with caramelized onion and sharp cheddar

BBQ Beef: Braised beef tossed with our signature sweet and Smokey BBQ sauce served with crispy onions and soft rolls

Sweet Potato Stack: Marinated grilled vegetables served on a wheat roll with lemon garlic hummus, sliced avocado, sweet potatoes, arugula and goat cheese

Smashmouth Club Sub: Thinly sliced Dearborn ham, deli turkey, roast beef and salami accompanied by giardiniera, lettuce, tomato, spicy pickles and our house made sub sauce
